  • Blackboard Scheduled Maintenance Notice (Monday, October 12, 2026)

    Blackboard has scheduled a system update and feature release beginning Thursday, October 15, 2026, at 4:00 a.m. EDT and continuing through Friday, October 16, 2026, at 4:00 a.m. EDT.

    During this maintenance window, users may experience intermittent service interruptions, reduced performance, or temporary unavailability of Blackboard services. While Blackboard is not expected to be unavailable for the entire 24-hour period, access may be affected at various times as updates are deployed.

    To avoid potential issues, please submit assignments, discussion posts, and any other coursework before the maintenance window begins whenever possible. We also recommend downloading or reviewing any course materials you may need during that time.

    Thank you for your patience and understanding as Blackboard implements these system enhancements and improvements.

  • Integration Update (Friday, October 2, 2026)

    Good morning,

    The integration issue between Anthology and Blackboard has been resolved, and all active students have now been enrolled in their October Term courses.

    If you were impacted by this issue, your instructors have been asked to provide additional time to complete Week 1 assignments.

    If you are still unable to see or access one of your courses in Blackboard, please email Blackboard@salemu.edu so our team can assist you directly.

  • 2026-2027 Annual Security Report and Fire Safety Reports (Wednesday, September 30, 2026)

    Hello Everyone,

    The 2026-2027 Annual Security Report and Fire Safety Reports are now available. 

     The Annual Security Report (aka Clery Report) and the Fire Safety Report include information concerning campus safety and security, such as policies on sexual assault, harassment, emergency management, anti-hazing, and missing persons.  The report also includes statistics required by federal law for the previous three years concerning reported crimes that occurred on campus, non-campus property controlled by the University, and public property within or adjacent to the campus.  Please follow the link below to access the report.
